DescriptionNo, not wine, the mannequin is seen carrying a keg of gunpowder (25064587038).jpg
It was some 20min to closing time and we still had to check out the Toshakhana (gunpowder magazine), and is possible, go find dinner in one of the food outlets on the premises of the Gobindgarh Fort.
Getting to the Toskakhana was easier said than done. The path to the facility is straightforward enough, but all lights had been switched off due to the ongoing Spirit of Punjab performance. And not expecting any more visitors that late, the Toshakhana caretakers had switched off the lights in the building as well. So getting there meant a lot of touch, smell and feel, helped in little with the on-board flashlight of our cell phones, which we took turns in using so as to not run out of juice completely on any one phone. In the entrance hall of the Toshakhana is this mannequin of a Sikh gentleman carrying a keg on his shoulder. No, that is not wine, that's a (gun)powder keg.
