Being a spare-time linguist, my contribution to the various Wiktionaries is based on research and home resources. I live in the U.S., but being born into a primarily Russian family, the great language of Chekhov and Tolstoy has been bestowed on me. One of my chief goals on Wiktionary as well as Wikipedia is therefore to expand the Russophone scholarly assets, and benefit the Russian editions in their advancement to become a legitimate source of information. On top of it all, I speak French just about fluently; I’ve lived in Germany where I acquired Deutsch. Due to diverse studying and exploration I’ve also gotten a loose grip around a chockfull of languages, like Polish and Italian. |

It is also of my ambition to create a Russian-language source available for Ukrainians, Israelis, Uzbeks, Georgians, Armenians, Tajiks – exactly everyone that will speak Russian. Accordingly, I would like to uplift any regional jargons and traits that should be taken into consideration.
