Le vote est ouvert à tous ceux qui ont au moins 100 modifications sur le Wiktionnaire francophone au moment du début du vote. Il est rappelé aux votants que le seul avantage du statut de bot est de ne pas apparaître dans la page Modifications récentes. Si le rapport Pour/Contre est supérieur (ou égal) à 75%, la requête est acceptée, le bot flag est demandé aux bureaucrates. Le vote dure 7 jours.

Hello, first of all, it's doing the test edits now. I will stop it after around 30 edits. And I don't know about that policy. I think Pywikipediabot has options for that, so it will be safe. Wikitanvir 14 avril 2011 à 18:06 (UTC)

As far as I know, interwiki.py has never been really properly adapted to the Wiktionary family for at least the following reasons:

1. The cs.wikt specificities.
2. The different apostrophes according to the site language (for example en:aujourd'hui is pointing to a redirection here, the script may remove them, and sometimes there isn't any one).
3. Only two bots arrived to do that for a few years: en:User:Interwicket/code, and Luckas-bot at the third vote.

I think you are not quite right. You said Luckas's bot is okay, but see here his user-config.py, which has fr and cs wikt in it, and he uses the same interwiki.py from Pywikipedia. As it is okay, as my test edits seem okay, I see no problem. Wikitanvir 14 avril 2011 à 20:25 (UTC)

No, sorry. enwikt and frwikt are different communities and this vote is about giving WikitanvirBot a bot status on frwikt and not anywhere else.

Though I don't understand your question good, but I think my bot can differ these two kinds of apostrophes. In Bengali, we have this kind of differences too. Please see here for a prove. Wikitanvir 17 avril 2011 à 06:05 (UTC)

And, if we run the command without -wiktionary parameter, it will modify the inter-wiki to the redirected page, and place the inter-wiki to the existing page. But if we run with -wiktionary (and I run it with that parameter), it will simply ignore that page with a message, "Ignoring fr:aujourd’hui for aujourd'hui in wiktionary mode."
