Eh oui, cette fois ce n'est pas une blague, même si j'ai un peu triché étant donné qu'il s'agit d'un mot composé par juxtaposition. On pourrait en trouver d'autres du même style, dont l'intérêt est surtout visuel à vrai dire. D'ailleurs, je viens de le vérifier, le mot figure aussi dans la version anglophone (et je n'ai pas copié l'article de ce Wiktionary). 79.85.113.159 12 septembre 2009 à 18:40 (UTC)

Sorry for not being able to write in French, but the correct spelling of this word is "jää-äär". The unhyphenated form is present chiefly in non-Estonian texts as a curiosity. If you want a proof, try BGC search for both spellings. All Estonian books have it either hyphenated or separated. Jää äär is a different thing though. There the word jää must be interpreted as genitive of jää. I write "chiefly" because there is an Estonian rockband "Jäääär" but I would assume the name is a little bit of a joke as the names of rockbands sometimes are.
