Bienvenue sur le Wiktionnaire, Robert Ullmann. Pour signer tes messages dans les pages de discussions, tape trois fois le caractère ~. Avec un quatrième tilde s’afficheront la date et l’heure. Les articles ne sont pas signés. Nous utilisons parfois des sigles mystérieux pour communiquer entre nous : tu pourras trouver leur explication sur la page jargon. Si tu viens d’un autre projet Wikimédia, n’oublie pas de mettre les liens vers tes autres pages perso. Tu peux utiliser ta page personnelle pour te présenter, et demander à te faire parrainer si tu le souhaites. Si tu as des questions à poser, n’hésite surtout pas à me contacter ou à les poser dans la Wikidémie. Bonne continuation parmi nous !

Interwicket

Est-ce qu'Interwicket va bientôt être utilisable ici ? Ce serait une excellente nouvelle... Est-ce qu'il serait imaginable de mettre ce bot sur pywikipedia, et que toutes les langues puissent choisir de l'utiliser ? Lmaltier 26 janvier 2009 à 17:26 (UTC)

(pardon my reply in English; I can read French fairly well, but writing is difficult) I am working now on testing it with all of the wikts (that I can); it had been written without being concerned with the policies and differences other than the English wiktionary's policy. At this time I'll be seeing if I can get bot flags in various places. Perhaps it can just be run from the toolserver or devtionary for all the wikts? Robert Ullmann 26 janvier 2009 à 17:50 (UTC)

It has reached the test limit on fr; it will do a maximum of one every two hours from now. With a bot flag it will do everything it finds. (I have no idea how one gets bot flags other than on the en.wikt ;-) Also: I will be putting the code from the last few days up for review (stealing ;-) in my user pages in en.wikt at some point. Oui, le faire s'exécuter automatiquement partout serait l'idéal. Il faut noter un problème avec les apostrophes : nous utilisons ici les apostrophes typographiques sur la page décrivant le mot (+ redirection vers cette page : d'accord -> d’accord). Lmaltier 31 janvier 2009 à 09:09 (UTC) Et il ne faut pas hésiter à écrire en français : la plupart des anglophones hésitent à le faire, même quand ils en sont parfaitement capables. Et quelques erreurs de temps en temps n'empêchent pas de comprendre, ce n'est pas grave. Il n'y a pas de francophones qui s'expriment en français sur en.wiktionary, même s'ils écrivent parfois l'anglais de façon maladroite... Lmaltier 31 janvier 2009 à 09:13 (UTC)

Je suis tout à fait favorable à l'utilisation complète d'Interwicket ici, pour compléter tous les liens manquants.

J'ai aussi une suggestion, qui pourrait le rendre encore plus efficace (du point de vue des serveurs) : faire travailler Interwicket à partir des dumps périodiques uniquement. L'inconvénient est que cela retarderait beaucoup l'ajout des liens, bien sûr, mais est-ce très grave ? Il faudrait dans ce cas que les autres bots interwiki arrêtent de traiter les pages de l'espace principal. Lmaltier 25 février 2009 à 08:26 (UTC)

One process I have reads the indexes, and the XML for a particular wikt, and does updates; that does do a number of server requests (~20K), but is efficient on a large wikt, when the number of updates is 20K or more (plus updates on other wikts). I run this on the en.wikt every few months; I will run it on fr.wikt once now.

Note on this run: it is skipping pages with U+2019 (apostrophe typographique) and entries with "/", voir am/voir, qui devrait être dans en l'espace Modèle. Robert Ullmann 26 février 2009 à 00:50 (UTC)

The other process is the primary one: it reads the various dumps as they become available. But is also reads RC (Modifications récentes) using the API, and does current updates. It seems to have missed some. Since {{prv}} and {{oc-prv}} now redirect to {{oc}}, you could try looking for pages with two Occitan sections. Don't start for at least an hour, as the server has to catch up. Mglovesfun (disc.) 29 novembre 2009 à 14:49 (UTC)
